About Us
Family Bio
The "Parks family" that I hail from, is from the Detroit Michigan
area. My
father, Floyd, was born in Detroit and mother, Shirley, was born in Illinois. I
think they raised a great family. We had what I thought was a typical childhood.
We didn't go without and had some nice times together. I am the youngest
of five boys. My brothers: Jim, Gil, Bruce and Brian all live in different areas
of Texas. Their kids Jared, Bethany, Jason (USMC), Terri, Michael, Jenny and
Matt (USAF) live throughout the country. We see each other every now and then.
Bruce and Gil are the family historians. I decided to stay in Michigan
many years ago. With the exception of the job market and high property
taxes, it is a pretty nice state to live in.
